The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation supports over 3,000 local firefighters and paramedics. They accept donations to buy the proper equipment and tools for firefighters to effectively battle wildfires.
***CALIFORNIA FIRE FOUNDATION WILDFIRE & DISASTER RELIEF FUND
The California Fire Foundation is a nonprofit that provides support to firefighters and loved ones of fallen firefighters. They are currently accepting donations, which they will use to work with local fire agencies and other community-based organizations.

American Red Cross responds to fire disasters by providing support to first responders, ensuring shelter and food access to victims, delivering relief supplies, and offering medical care.

The Star Trek Family, a fan organization, is raising Disaster Relief Money for anyone that has been impacted by the Los Angeles fires. Families are being displaced, losing their homes and all of their personal belongings. Pets are being displaced, lost in the chaos. People are being forced to evacuate and move to safer areas. Things like food, hotels, water, clothing, disaster relief supplies, and emergency pet care are desperately needed. Compassion and monetary resources are one major way that we can come to the rescue of folks that have lost everything or are displaced from their normal lives by the raging fires in Los Angeles

California’s Wildfire Recovery Fund is used to help with the intermediate and long-term impacts of wildfires, helping communities recover after attention has shifted away from the disasters.

The minimum three-year employment eligibility is waived for natural disaster assistance:
A one-time emergency stipend is available for individuals who work in theatrical exhibition and distribution who have been displaced by the fires in Southern California.
If you have worked in theatrical exhibition or distribution for three years or more and have an additional need beyond the emergency stipend, you may be eligible for further assistance. Please describe your situation in the comment box at the bottom of the intake form and a social worker will contact you with further instructions and documentation requirements.
